The Ending Bible Poverty Now Vision is one of the legacy words of YWAM and a main focus for the organization. This means that as YWAM Amsterdam we want to step into this calling to pray, translate, publish, distribute, educate and motivate people for Bible engagement. Through this calling we hope to see individuals, families, communities, cities, and nations transformed through the power of God’s Word.

Our Heart
Acts 1:8 ‘’But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.’’
This verse in Acts 1:8 is key for how we want to work as an EBPN team in Amsterdam. Our heart is to see Bible poverty end from our location right in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in Europe and in all the world. As a team we want to be led by the Holy Spirit and through this we may trust that we will be witnesses for God’s Kingdom.
We realize that many people in the Netherlands carry a deep hunger to learn how to engage with God’s Word and how to apply this in their lives. We look forward to stepping into this vision by investing in Bible engagement in Amsterdam and the Netherlands.
We have really noticed this desire from the Dutch people and will step into this need through Bible teachings at our base in Amsterdam as well as going out to local churches in the Netherlands.
We will also step into this vision for the world by partnering with DTS outreaches as well as creating outreach opportunities for staff and Bible school graduates to learn how to share about God’s Word in places where the Bible is not known.
Our heart is to partner with the organizations which invest into Ending Bible Poverty and use the resources available already to see where God will lead us.
